• Why us?

          • From Principal's Desk...

          • Dear Parents,

I am a firm believer of African Proverb which states “It takes the entire village to educate and train a child”.  Education is a shared responsibility with the home, community and school, and that a positive relationship with these stakeholders is very important in child’s success. In a rapidly evolving world driven by technological advancements, it is through our collective efforts and pursuit of excellence that we prepare our children for a dynamic and unpredictable future.

Our school's mission extends beyond merely providing a platform for academic achievement. We aspire to nurture well-rounded and compassionate global citizens who embrace and respect diverse cultures.

The biggest gift we can give to the mankind is EDUCATION and education is not just about helping our children in acquiring knowledge from the books and other sources but to awaken their intellect to use the knowledge. We firmly believe that the journey of learning knows no bounds and should extend far beyond the confines of classrooms and textbooks. Our aim is to instill a lifelong love for learning in our children, where every moment becomes an opportunity for growth. At Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School Semarang, we celebrate the joy of learning.

We maintain a holistic focus on our children's physical, intellectual, and emotional well-being, dedicating ourselves to their overall development.

In August 2018, our school relocated to a new campus nestled amidst the environmentally friendly and lush green slopes of Candigolf Hills. To provide a world-class international education, we have secured affiliations with prestigious institutions such as Oxford/AQA for International GCSE, AS/A Levels, and Cambridge International for Primary and Lower Secondary.

Should you have any suggestion for further improvement or concern regarding any area of school functioning, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me. I assure you that those suggestions would be valued.

            With warmest regards,

            Suresh Arora.
